Andrea Shore

Vocals, Keyboard

Chemong Lake, ON (born in Winnipeg, MB)

Andrea Shore’s path to the stage has been anything but ordinary. An artist, athlete, nurse, mother, and storyteller, she brings a lifetime of passion, discipline, and creativity into every note she sings and every chord she plays.

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Andrea began performing at an early age as a singer, dancer, and actress on the national CTV children’s show Let’s Go. Simultaneously, she was a decorated competitive baton twirler for 17 years, earning numerous provincial and national titles and proudly representing Canada at the World Championships, where she brought home a team bronze medal in 1993.

Her love of performance led her to the stage at Rainbow Stage, where she appeared in musical theatre productions while earning her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Manitoba (1988). She moved to Toronto in 1990 to pursue professional theatre, performing at Stage West in Mississauga, before shifting her focus to family life.

Andrea began her nursing career in 1988, working across Post-Partum and Occupational Health for 32 years. She finished her clinical career with 3.5 years supporting HIV and Hep C patients before retiring in 2024.

For nearly two decades, Andrea poured her heart into parenting—cheering from arenas and lacrosse fields, and serving as team manager and trainer for her two sons. But her artistic flame never dimmed.

In 2012, she returned to performing as a singer with a variety of musicians in acoustic duos and classic rock bands. She formed an acoustic duo with long-time musical partner Steve O’Donoghue in 2013 called Strumcard, and later became a member of the classic rock band The FOG in 2017. Since 2022, she’s performed with Val Bevacqua as part of an acoustic
musical duo, and in 2024, she became a core member of The Rezberries. Her expressive vocals, keyboard talent, and rhythmic guitar work bring a unique depth and emotional clarity to the band’s evolving sound.

Now based on Chemong Lake, Andrea recently retired from her part-time role as a nurse coordinator at the Positive Care Clinic in Peterborough. A lifelong learner and creative spirit, she spends her time painting, working with stained glass, gardening, fishing with her husband Kyle (her partner of over 34 years), and enjoying life as a proud mom and grandma—while
still finding time to gig across Ontario.

Andrea’s life is a living harmony—of art, care, and commitment—and she brings that same soulful energy to every Rezberries performance.
