Monty Flindall is a seasoned drummer whose professional music career began in 1984. With a dynamic range that spans orchestral music, country, blues, and heavy rock, Monty has built a reputation as a versatile and rock-solid performer.
From 1997 to 2004, Monty toured extensively with a children’s musical safety show, bringing education and entertainment to audiences across Ontario and even into Europe. His adaptability and commitment to meaningful performance work set him apart early in his career.
Monty has performed with several top-tier acts, including the Steve Piticco Band, where he backed Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame artists such as Harold MacIntyre, Marie Bottrell, Paul Weber, and John Landry. He has also shared the stage with acts opening for major stars like Gretchen Wilson, Brett Kissel, and Trooper.
In 2000, Monty founded his own recording studio, where he continues to thrive behind the scenes as a producer and session drummer. His drumming and engineering work appear on recordings by a wide range of artists, reflecting both his technical mastery and deep musical intuition.
As part of The Rezberries, Monty brings decades of experience, rhythmic precision, and a passion for storytelling through music. Whether in the studio or on stage, his presence is the heartbeat of the band.
